This two-weekend intensive (40 hours) training will provide you with the tools to sequence and teach a 60 minute Hot Sculpt class while empowering you with the knowledge of life-changing mindfulness practices.

Hot Sculpt is a high intensity, high energy, musically-driven class designed to develop tremendous cardio and strength capacities. But beyond the work-out, this practice is also a work-in. Far beyond the physiological benefits, class is a space for mental clearing and emotional release- inviting students to witness their resistance to discomfort and embrace wherever they are in their journey. Sculpt trains your mind to drop your ego at the door, find joy in movement, and leave feeling recharged, invigorated, and closer to yourself.

PCYC instructors Kelley Sandahl and Madeleine Hackett will teach you their refined techniques behind syncing the beat of music to movement, guiding simple and effective exercises, curating a motivating playlist, and more. This training is centered around practice teaching and experience-based learning, followed by analysis and dynamic group discussions.

Arm Balance Workshop

Join Nikki McFadden for a two-hour arm balance workshop focused on attainable drills to help you get upside down (and stay there)! Whether you are new to arm balancing or an old pro, you will learn something new to assist your arm balance journey!

There are so many positive physical, mental, and energetic benefits that come from incorporating active inversions such as arm balances into your regular yoga practice! Arm balances strengthen the upper body, boost energy, build confidence, improve focus, reverse blood flow taking pressure off of the heart, help the lymphatic system, allow for a switch in perspective, help us face and move through fear, reacquaint us with our inner child, and open the heart chakra.

We will (donkey) kick things off with a brief convo/QA about arm balances. We will then move into a short and sweet inversion focused flow to warm up, followed by a breakdown of and playtime with the following arm balances:
